Californian by birth.
Battle Born at heart.
DJ Lynn may have been born and raised in San Diego, but he was built for the Battle Born State. From a young age, his parents introduced him to Lake Tahoe, where he developed a deep appreciation for everything the lake had to offer. When it came time for college, DJ proudly enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno—and never looked back. He became deeply involved with the university as a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, serving as both President and Vice President, as well as the Cheer & Stunt Team and the Men’s Rugby Team, where he also served as President. After earning a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management, there was no question—Reno was home. He spent over a decade working for a highly respected local construction wholesale supply company, excelling in every aspect of the business and mastering the fundamentals of exceptional customer service.
A few years after graduating, fate stepped in. A strikingly beautiful redhead named Briana visited Reno to see comedian Daniel Tosh perform at the Grand Sierra Resort. DJ happened to be at the same show. Not long after, he had convinced Briana to make Nevada her home. During what was supposed to be a simple trip to Disneyland, they continued on to San Diego to visit DJ’s family—where he surprised Briana with a proposal at Torrey Pines State Beach, in the very neighborhood where he grew up.
Shortly after the birth of their son, Donovan, DJ found himself wanting more for his family’s future. Together, he and Briana decided it was time for a drastic change. Taking a leap of faith, DJ left the construction industry to pursue his passion for real estate. Raised with values of honesty, loyalty, discipline, and dedication, he combined these principles with his years of professional experience—empowering himself to take a chance and bet on his own success. Today, real estate is more than just a career for DJ; it’s his life’s passion. He takes immense pride in every client who places their trust in him.
When he’s not working tirelessly for his clients, DJ can be found spending time with family and friends, supporting the University of Nevada at football and basketball games, golfing, skiing—whether on the mountain or in the lake—or working out at his second home, CrossFit Bangarang.
